Full Moon Features Target Apr. 11 For The Release Of Blu-ray And DVD Editions Of Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2

DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey

Stop the presses!!

The BABES are back, so says Full Moon Features — with sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group — with news this week that Apr. 11 will be the street for both DVD and Blu-ray editions of the long-awaited release of Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2.

Way, way back in 1988 there was director David DeCoteau’s Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, a small-budget production, which had a limited theatrical release and then moved to VHS … and over time became something of — dare we say it — a cult classic.

For genre-fans it is a keepsake because it stars Scream Queens Linnea Quigley (who had starred in DeCoteau’s Creepozoids the previous year), Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer (aka: Michelle McClellan).

Word first surfaced back in 2019 that a sequel was possibly being considered, but nothing much happened.   There were rumors of a cast reunion (although most them had been killed-off in the original … how does that work?) and that DeCoteau would direct … but it didn’t happen.

The film popped back up on the radar last year with Linnea Quigley directing and both Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer returning as cast members.   Yes, the-wish granting, bowling alley trophy Imp is back and a new batch of sorority targets have arrived — Hannah Tullet (Femalien: Cosmic Crush), Audrey Neal (If She Screams, No Way Out) and Glory Rodriguez (in her film debut) — with none other than Kelli Maroney of Night of the Comet fame as Auntie Snake, the housemother of Pi Epsilon.

Mark it down, Apr. 11, sorority lasses, evil clown/Imp, back to the bowling alley, Scream Queens and new recruits … what more do you need!!   Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2 on both DVD and Blu-ray from Full Moon Features.
