The Film Chest announced
this past week that a three-film, three-disc collection of newly restored (from
35mm film elements) Roger Corman-produced horror classics will be released on
DVD just in time for Halloween (street date: Oct. 29).
Titled Roger
Corman’s Horror Classics, Vol. 1, fans can select from HD restored
versions of A Bucket of Blood (1959, produced and directed by Roger Corman
and starring Dick Miller), Dementia 13 (1963, produced by
Corman; written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola) and The Terror (also 1963,
co-produced and co-directed by Corman and Coppola and teaming screen legend
Boris Karloff with newcomer Jack Nicholson).
