With little fanfare, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will
release on DVD co-directors John Korty and Charles Swenson’s 1983 cult-status
animation feature, Twice Upon a Time, on Sept. 29.
The film, produced by none other than George Lucas, had a
checkered history, including a quick in and out theatrical release and then off
to oblivion. Both cuts of the film are
included in the release.
Also included is a commentary track featuring director John
Korty, who is joined by crew members John Baker, Harley Jessup, Brian Narelle,
Will Noble, Henry Selick and Carl Willat.
