VCI Entertainment
announced this past week that a double-disc DVD collection of four rare Boris
Karloff films will be released on Sept. 11.
Titled the Boris
Karloff Collection, the chills begin with director Jack Hill’s Dance
of Death (aka House of Evil), which is based on a
blend Edgar Allan Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher and his short poem, “Dance
of Death.”
The other rarities are Torture
Zone (aka Fear Chamber), Cult of the Dead (aka: Isle
of the Snake People) and Alien Terror.
