Arrow Video Looks To Apr. 26 For The Release Of Director Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys As A 4K Ultra HD Product Offering

Arrow Video, with domestic sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has new 4K film restoration (from the original camera negative) of auteur filmmaker Terry Gilliam’s 1995 prophetic sci-fi tale, 12 Monkeys, slated for a 4K Ultra HD rollout on Apr. 26.

Starring Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe and Brad Pitt, who received his first of four acting Oscar nominations — Best Supporting Actor … The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Best Actor nomination in 2008); Money Ball (Best Actor nomination in 2011) and Once Upon a Time in ... Hollywood (Best Supporting Actor 2019 and winner) would follow.

Bonus features include commentary from Terry Gilliam and producer Charles Roven, the feature-length documentary from the team of Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe titled The Hamster Factor and Other Tales of Twelve Monkeys and a trio of featurettes — “The Film Exchange with Terry Gilliam,” “Appreciation by Ian Christie” and “The Twelve Monkeys Archives.”
