Nozomu Itoshiki (voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya — Bakemonogatari, Kakushigoto, Star Blazers 2202) is a teacher, but that’s the only “ordinary” thing about his life at the moment. In this devilishly clever satire on high school students in particular and society overall, with Nozomu at the center of this little universe, teaching his very peculiar students about pessimism and despair.
