Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Celebrates The 30th Anniversary Of Sylvester Stallone's Cliffhanger With A New 4K Ultra HD Release On May 30

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced this past week that director Renny Harlin’s 1993 heist thriller, Cliffhanger, starring Sylvester Stallone and John Lithgow, will be getting a 30^th Anniversary 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack release on May 30.

Filmmaker Renny Harlin approved Sony’s new 4K restoration and has kicked in 17 previously unseen deleted scenes from the film.

Bonus features, on the accompanying Blu-ray disc, are all archival … including commentary with Renny Harlin and Sylvester Stallone, a tech-crew commentary, an introduction by Harlin, a deleted scene with Harlin introducing and two vintage featurettes — “Stallone on the Edge” and “Special Effects.”
