Bayview Entertainment has tabbed Mar. 26 as the debut date for the writing/directing team of Kevin Losani and Richard Terrasi’s anthology horror film, The Monster Mash.

Fresh from multiple film festival wins (South Shore Film Festival, The New York Sci-Fi Film Festival, etc.), The Monster Mash is a knowing nod to classic monsters (Universal of the 1930s … Frankenstein, Dracula and more) coupled with a love for those treasured Amicus anthology treasures of the 60s and 70s (The House That Dripped Blood, Tales from the Crypt, Asylum, etc.).   In that vein, Losani and Terrasi have conjured up a delightful trio of gruesome horror tales that will have genre fans clapping in approval.

Doctor Freudstein (a tip of the hat to Fulci) played here by Michael Gentile (The Damaged, Dark Side of the Moon, etc.), serves as the host and connecting element to the three stories.   He’s got something on the slab … in his lab!!

The horror anthology tales are: “Whispering Hollow Road,” a serial killer story with a wicked twist; “The House,” an homage to all-things werewolf, and finally, “Homebound Horror,” a cool blend of murder, a UFO visitor and an unstoppable zombie (resurrected dead) on a mission of vengeance.

Bonus goodies are commentary by filmmakers Richard Terrasi (noted for his short films and Justina Valentine music videos) and  and Kevin Losani (Dark Side of the Moon, The Festival, I Am Evil), a collection of Super-8 behind the scenes footage and the featurette titled “The Making of The Monster Mash.”
