Cleopatra Entertainment, with sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has not one or two new Blu-ray concert releases ready for fans to enjoy on Friday, Sept. 6, but four … count’em, FOUR! So let’s get to it!!
First up is the Blu-ray debut of Tanya Tucker: Live at the Renaissance Center (2006).
This 15-song set includes “My Arms Stay Open,” “Tell Me About It,” “Don't Go Out With Him,” “If Your Heart Ain't Busy” and “One Love at a Time.”
Bonus features include a video session with Tanya Tucker and the 2007 concert at Casino Rama in Orillia, Canada.
Next up on Sept. 6 is the Blu-ray debut of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers: Up Close and Personal.
This vintage “concerts” collection includes numbers from the 1998 and 1999 Houston-area live performances at Billy Blues and Rockefellers.
Included in the mix are eight Mayall Blues classics including “White Line Fever,” “A Hard Road,” and “Voodoo Music.”
That’s two … how about number three? Would the Blu-ray debut of Todd Rundgren: Healing Live be right up your alley?
Back in 2010 Todd Rundgren was having fun with “Rundgren Radio” and also did a six show concert tour billed as “Todd/Healing” … the result are a ten-song set that includes “Healer,” “Pulse,” “Tiny Demons,” “Flesh” and “Time.”
Bonus materials here include a video session with Todd Rundgren and Roy Firestone.
Rounding out this Blu-ray concert bonanza from Cleopatra Entertainment is UFO: Showtime.
2005, the European tour … UFO rocks out with a 22-song selection, including the likes of “Mother Mary,” Let IT Roll” and “Doctor Doctor.”
Bonus delights include interviews with the band members, a slideshow, two bonus clips and a pair of featurettes — “The Making Of” and “Behind the Scenes.”
