Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has selected June 10 as the street date for the full spread physical media launch of director Christopher Landon’s twisted dinner-date thriller, Drop.
The ARR is a swift-to-market 60 days and the domestic box office take currently stands at $15.9 million.
Planned for distribution at stand-alone DVD and Blu-ray selections, plus a 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack purchasing option.
The physical media rollout is undercut by the premium VOD window opening up just 18 days into Drop’s theatrical run, which gives the “Helper” community a full six weeks to push their Blu-ray copies (format of choice) on unsuspecting genre fans.
Bonus features include commentary from Landon (Happy Death Day, Happy Death Day 2U) and a trio of featurettes — “A Recipe for Thrills: Making Drop,” “A Palate for Panic” and “Killer Chemistry.”
