Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has tabbed July 8 for the full spread physical media launch of writer/director Ryan Coogler’s blockbuster supernatural horror hit, Sinners.
The ARR works out to 81 days and the domestic box haul thus far is an impressive $260 million.
All three formats — DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD — will be stand-alone product offerings.
Warner Bros. is limiting the “Helper” community to just five weeks of illicit selling time with the June 3 premium VOD window, which is 46 days into the film’s theatrical run — unlike 18 days that some studios when they green light piracy with early VOD dates.
Bonus goodies are limited to the Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD SKUs. These include deleted and extended scenes, plus five featurettes — “Dancing with the Devil: The Making of Sinners,” “Thicker than Blood: Becoming the Smokestack Twins,” “Blues in the Night: The Music of Sinners,” ”Spirits in the Deep South” and “The Wages of Sin: The Creature FX of Sinners.”
