With Wonder Woman this and Wonder
Woman that, it’s nice to hear that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has
time for Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist — Patriots Day, The Longest Ride),
which takes the form of an Aug. 22 street date for both DVD and Blu-ray
editions of Supergirl: The Complete Second Season.
Included in the five-disc DVD edition and the four-disc
Blu-ray SKU are all 22 episodes … the debut of season three will be on Oct. 9
(the cliffhanger leads us to believe that a new “super” force has plans for our
planet).
Bonus goodies include video from the 2016 Comic-Con Panel,
two featurettes — “Supergirl: Alien Fight Night” and “Aliens Among Us” — and
“A Conversation with Andrew Kreisberg and Kevin Smith.”
