Is it a horror film?
Is it a comedy?
Does it really matter if
you are having a good time viewing director/actor/producer Jim Klock’s latest
film entry, 6:66 PM, which will be heading to the DVD arena on Feb. 27
courtesy of Indican Pictures.
Poor Daniel (played by Jim
Klock — Massacre on Aisle 12, Murder Eleven, etc. … and as Detective
Chisolm in the Scream Queens TV series), he’s an aspiring actor who takes a
gig with a fast-talking reality TV producer by the name of Lorraine (Autumn
Federici — a film producer in her own right, with such credits as Haunting
of the Innocent, The Blackout, Shockwave, etc.).
This leaves him a bit clueless, as the rest
of her crew, Peter (Chad Ridgely) and Sheryl (Alexis Kelley), know full well
that their “physic” abilities (think: ghost hunters) are nothing but a con.
They’ve found the perfect
house to showcase … it’s a “haunted” house with a real backstory, so they set
about filmmaking and exploring the creepy place. There’s just one little problem, the place
really is haunted and by the ghost of a serial killer named Emmett (Michael
Buonomo) no less. This means that the fake
paranormal investigators, inept as they might be, are in for a night that they
will NEVER forget!
Filmmaker Jim Klock’s 6:66
PM is a sweet blend of horror — some nice, unexpected jolts — and
comedy, with the actors clearly having a good time.
