Bayview Entertainment To Release Director Will Terran's Homesitters On DVD This Coming Apr. 28

DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey
Bayview Entertainment will be bringing Brit filmmaker Will Terran’s house-sitting comedy, Homesitters, to the domestic DVD marketplace on Apr. 28.

Annabelle (Amelia Newbould — The Really Real Housewives of Crouch End, id-iology) is a “professional” homesitter, which isn’t really the case, she’s actually a scammer who lands gigs watching people’s homes while they are on vacation and invites Simon, (Stewart O’Reilly — The Twisted Death of a Lonely Madman, id-iology), her boyfriend, over to party.

Once they’ve drank themselves stupid — and have had sexual escapades in every nook and cranny of their current client’s home — they get what they can (nothing that will be noticed right away) and then tidy the place up and move on (it is best that the client’s don’t learn of kinky things they’ve done in their absence, EVER).

Simple enough, although you never really understand how Annabelle has any references, but no matter as that is quite beside the point.  Problems arise for the pair when their latest assignment literally goes up in flames.   Robbing places and messing with things is one thing, but destroying a home completely puts them in the crosshairs of the law and that means they need to take it on the lamb.

What to do?  What to do?   The solution, they had inadvertently crossed paths with a “cat burglar” early in the proceedings and now reconnect.   The thief is simply known as “Cat” (Ellen Man), who has problems of her own, but who is more than willing to team up with them to make some quick scores to raise enough money to make a clean getaway.
What could possibly go wrong with that plan?

Homesitters is a quickly-paced black comedy with a British touch — filming took place in and around Bristol — that hits all the right notes.   Just a thought, but you might want to avoid giving Annabelle the keys to your place … and don’t watch the surveillance footage if you do!!
