Cinema Libra will be releasing documentary filmmaker
Aaron D. Weisblatt’s Land of Little Rivers on
DVD this coming May 19.
If you enjoy fishing, fly fishing in particular,
then this one is a must-see on two levels … maybe more.
First, it takes place in fabled upstate New York,
land of finger lakes and the Delaware watershed, which is the main source of
New York City’s water supply. These days
getting “upstate” is more than just a vacation, it is almost an obsession with
New Yorkers as a result of the pandemic.
If you can’t do it physically these days, Land of
Little Rivers might be the next best thing!!
The second reason, is the art, yes the art of fly
fishing … perfection in the casting can be an obsession. Those who partake in the sport join a
fraternity, where tips and, of course, “fish stories” are shared with
passion.
Land of Little Rivers on
DVD from Cinema Libre is the perfect diversion from what is taking place in the
real world these days. May 19, mark it
on your viewing calendar … you just might catch the “bug” … the fishing bug
that is.
