Sunrise's Gundam Build Fighters Special Build Disc Heads To Blu-ray On Aug. 04

Sunrise, Inc., with sales and distribution support provided by Bayview Entertainment, has tabbed Aug. 4 for the Blu-ray debut of Gundam Build Fighters Special Build Disc.

This unique collection is an anime fans dream, especially for those who follow the adventures drawn from the Gundam universe.

So what’s included here?   We kick off with director Kenji Nagasaki’s 2017 release of Gundam Build Fighters GM's Counterattack, which is a stand-alone sequel to the Gundam Build Fighters series (“Gunpla” model builder Sei Lori teams up with Reiji, a fighter pilot, to create a competitive team).

Here, Sei Lori and friends are trapped in Yajima Staduim when the Gunpla Mafia sets up a massive Gunpla battle … when all seems lost it is Reiji to the rescue.

Next up is director by Shinya Watada’s Gundam Build Fighters Try: Island Wars, which follows the Try Fighters at the Nielsen Labs’ isolated tropical island … Gunpla have been mysterious taken over and are attack on their own!!

Finally, the Gundam Build Fighters Special Build Disc features all five episodes from the 2017 OVA, Gundam Build Fighters: Battlogue.   The five, eleven-minute episodes include are: “AI Battlogue,” “Smash the Enemy's Secret Factory!,” “The Adventures of Fumina and Gyanko,” “Our War” and “Gunpla is the Greatest!”
