Bayview Entertainment has locked in Aug. 18 for the
DVD release of Elvis: The Classic Broadcasts.
What has been assembled here are 25 live
performances — no safety net, no “let’s take two,” no going back and doing it
over. Fans certainly have their collections
of LPs and CDs of both his studio and live concert performances, plus the
movies, of course, and complete concerts on either DVD or Blu-ray (or VHS for
that matter), but there’s something unique about Elvis, walking out on stage,
and letting it rip. Elvis: The Classic Broadcasts
gives viewers that experience.
Songs included in the mix are “Don't Be Cruel,” “Burning Love,” “Love Me Tender,”
“Peace In The Valley” and 21 more selections.
Also heading home on Aug.
18 from Bayview Entertainment are nine additional music-themed DVD
selections. These range from critical
reviews, “videobiography” samplings and biographical examinations of the
careers of rock sensations.
Included in the mix for
fans to savor are: Abba: In Performance, Black Sabbath: Up Close and Personal, Bob Marley:
Up Close and Personal, Cream: Inside Cream, Fleetwood Mac: Videobiography, Led
Zeppelin Iv: Essential Albums, Motorhead: Videobiography, Nirvana: Up Close and
Personal and The Ramones: Videobiography.
