Severin Films, with sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has something special for genre fans with a taste for Nunspolitation film fare.   Titled, Nasty Habits: The Nunsploitation Collection, this four-film Blu-ray collection will be available just in time for Christmas-gift-giving on the 14th of December.

This sub-genre, is, of course, by definition a guilty pleasure … and the guilt and pleasures are plenty, so let’s get to what is in this “gift set.”

Leading the parade, and we are not talking about Sally Field and any flying nuns, but none other than writer/director Sergio Bergonzelli’s 1972 film release of Cristiana Devil Nun (aka: Our Lady of Lust).   Cristiana (Toti Achilli) is on a routine flight from Athens to Rome when she decides to get naked have sex in the main cabin … the flight attendant tells here no, no, no, but Cristiana doesn’t see what the big deal is.

It is just about that time that the passenger jet hits an unexpected storm and it looks as though they are doomed.   In a moment of divine decision, she confesses to a fellow passenger, a nun, that if the plane doesn’t crash, she will give up sex and depravity and become a nun.   The jet lands safely and she becomes a “nun.”   You betcha!
