Lionsgate Home Entertainment Tabs July 11 For The Release Of DVD And Blu-ray Editions Of Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret

DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has targeted July 11 for the release of both DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack editions of writer/director Kelly Fremon Craig’s film adaptation of Judy Blume’s 1970 coming-of-age novel,
Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.

Despite its pedigree and rave reviews, the film’s box office to date has been disappointing at $19.9 million (against a reported $30 million production budget) … home entertainment to rescue.   For the record, the ARR is 74 days.

Bonus features include deleted scenes, a roundtable discussion and four featurettes — “Finally That Time: Making Margaret,” “The Secret Crew Club: Margaret and Friends,” “Are You There Margaret?  It’s Me, Judy” and “Bringing the Period to Life: Designing Margaret.”

Also getting a street date is Liongate’s Ancient Aliens: Season 17, which arrives on July 25 as a double-disc DVD product offering.
