Visual Vengeance, with sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has something very special lined up for genre fans on Nov. 28.

This would be a scream queen horror flick starring a real-life scream queen and titled Scream Queen.   Say that three times quickly!   Of course, we are talking about writer/director Brad Sykes’ “lost” Linnea Quigley film, Scream Queen, which will be making its Blu-ray debut as a “Visual Vengeance Collector's Edition.”

The film, according to several sources, was actually shot in 1998, but not finished until 2002, after Sykes had released a half-dozen or so films in the interim, including Camp Blood, Camp Blood 2 and The Zombie Chronicles (among others).

Back in 2012, word surfaced that the film would be released on DVD and attributed to the now defuncted Leo Films, but if that happened it flew in under the radar — over twenty films in our database from Leo Films went on the schedule, but never made it to the street.

In the end it really doesn’t matter, this Visual Vengeance Blu-ray is the one you want if you check any of these boxes.   Genre fan?   Check.   Scream queen film collector?  Check.   Horror fan?   Check.  Linnea Quigley fan?   Double check!!

As to the film itself, Malicia Tombs (Quigley) is starring in her latest gem, when she is killed suddenly and the film production goes dark.   Magically, a year later the surviving cast and crew (victim pool) are summoned to a remote mansion (think: haunted house) to finish the production.   The only thing getting “finished” is the cast and crew as a masked stalker is out for revenge!!

Bonus goodies include commentary by Brad Sykes (we can finally get the lowdown on the production of Scream Queen) a behind the scenes documentary titled Once Upon a Time in Horrorwood, a “producer’s cut” of the film, video sessions with Linnea Quigley and editor Mark Polonia and two photo galleries, including featuring Quigley.
