Bayview Entertainment Has Selected Mar. 26 For The Blu-ray Debut Of Documentary Filmmaker Kovid Mittal's At 23000 Feet

You have certainly heard of Mount Everest.  And probably seen the movie about K2 (literally titled K2)— or perhaps have heard of it, the second highest mountain in the world (about 800 foot shorter than Everest).   But few, outside of mountain climbing circles, have likely seen stories about Kalanag or “Black Peak.”

That’s what documentary filmmaker Kovid Mittal is facing in the Bayview Entertainment Blu-ray debut of At 23000 Feet on Mar. 26.   Black Peak at 20,960 feet — in the “death zone” — and every bit as dangerous as K2 and Everest is what his film is about.

But that’s the least of it.  Mittal was an engineering major in college, his father in the India Air Force, so a lot was expected of him, but everything in his life took an odd turn when he began modeling professionally.

He became good at it and picked up the acting bug as well.   A professional.  A star.  So why not “stretch” things a little and make a documentary about scaling Black Peak in record time … as both the filmmaker and the crazy, self-assured movie star that decided it was a grand idea!!    That would be like Tom Cruise doing his own stunts!

Six days, set the record, film it … or die trying, that’s the life or death tale of Mittal’s heart-stopping At 23000 Feet!   On Blu-ray (with all the breathtaking beauty of the Himalayan Mountains) from Bayview Entertainment on Mar. 26!!
