Cleopatra Entertainment Has A DVD/CD Combo Pack Release Of Junior Wells & Buddy Guy: Live At Nightstage Ready For Blues Fans To Enjoy On July 05

Cleopatra Entertainment, with sales and distribution expertise provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has something very special lined up for blues fans on July 5.

Long out of print, Junior Wells & Buddy Guy: Live at Nightstage is back.  Producer/director John McDermott’s captured the live concert performance of recording legends Junior Wells and Buddy Guy at the Nightstage, the famed blues and jazz venue in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1986.

It was magic, the two legends had done several albums together (including the 1981 recording of the “Alone & Acoustic” album, which didn’t see the light of day until 1991 … selling over 100,000 copies), but this was something of a home coming; a very special reunion.   

Buddy Guy had worked with Jimi Hendrix over the years and McDermott had been the producer of some of Hendrix’s most famous filmed performances … so it was only natural that McDermott, Guy and Wells would get together for this one-of-a-kind filmed concert.

This is an 11 song set (with two bonus numbers), including “Look Over Yonder’s Wall,” “Got My Mojo Workin’,” “I Got You (I Feel Good)” and “Little by Little.”

Bonuses with this DVD rebirth from Cleopatra Entertainment include a CD presentation (first time) of the concert set and video sessions with both Buddy Guy and Junior Wells.
