Warner Home Video has
expanded its Blu-ray product offerings that have a Feb. 4 street date with two
new additions this week. Of note,
already in place is filmmaker Clint Eastwood’s Best Picture-winner, Million
Dollar Baby: 10th Anniversary Edition.
Getting the “anniversary
edition” Blu-ray treatment is director Michael Winner’s 1974 film adaptation of
the Brian Garfield urban vigilante novel, Death Wish: 40th Anniversary
Edition. This iconic Charles
Bronson crime thriller spawned not one, but four sequels.
No word as of yet as to
any bonus nuggets included with this Blu-ray launch.
On Feb. 4 also look for
the Blu-ray debut of director Brad Silberling’s City of Angels, starring
Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan.
