It would appear that
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has turned to Q1’14 for its new Blu-ray and DVD
product announcements.
Streeting on Jan. 14 is
director Adam Wingard’s mixed-genre murder thriller (home invasion) and horror
film, You’re Next. The ARR for
separate Blu-ray and DVD releases (both include UltraViolet) works out to 144
days and the box office tally was $18.5 million.
Bonus goodies include two
commentary options — both with director Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett, with or
without actors Sharni Vinson and Barbara Crampton — and the featurette titled
“No Ordinary Home Invasion: The Making Of You're Next.”
Also heading home as DVD
and Blu-ray SKUs (with UltraViolet) on Jan. 14 is director James Ponsoldt’s The
Spectacular Now. The ARR is 165
days and the box office take was a light $6.8 million.
