Image Entertainment has
added director Sandra Nettelbeck’s film adaptation of actor-turned-novelist
Françoise Dorner’s La Douceur Assassine
— titled for the screen as simply Last Love — to its Dec. 31 release
schedule.
Blu-ray and DVD editions are
planned for this April/December romantic drama (set in Paris, France) that
teams Michael Caine with Clémence Poésy (as Fleur Delacour in Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and Part 2) as lost souls
who find solace in each other’s company.
A limited theatrical showcase run (opened Nov. 1) was launched to raise
awareness among domestic film critics.
Bonus features include
outtakes and deleted scenes.
