Mill Creek Entertainment
announced this past week that two four-film, double-disc collections (priced at
just $14.98 each) spotlighting the talents of Oscar-winner Jack Lemmon will be
ready for retail on Apr. 22.
Jack Lemmon Showcase: Volume One includes Under the Yum Yum Tree, My
Sister Eileen, Phffft and Luv, while Jack
Lemmon Showcase: Volume Two has as its quartet of films Operation
Madball, Good Neighbor Sam, The Notorious Landlady and Three
for the Show.
Also added to its release
calendar this past week is the second installment in Mill Creek Entertainment’s
day-by-day history of World War II. The
street is May 13.
Titled WWII
Diaries: A Day by Day Chronicle, Volume Two - July 1942 - September 1945,
this massive ten-disc collection (running nearly 41 hours) is the companion
piece to the first volume, WWII Diaries: A Day by Day Chronicle, Volume
One - July 1942 - September 1945 (which is now available).
