Warner Home Video Preps Blu-rays For Point Blank And The Time Machine On July 8

DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey
Richard Stark’s (aka: Donald E. Westlake) pulp fiction novel, “The Hunter,” was spun into neo-noir gold by filmmaker John Boorman in 1967.   Starring Lee Marvin and Angie Dickenson and retitled Point Blank for the screen, it will be making its hi-def Blu-ray debut courtesy of Warner Home Video on July 8.

Also getting a Blu-ray push on July 8 is director George Pal’s brilliant 1960 film adaptation of H.G. Wells’ 1895 prophetic novel, The Time Machine.  The film stars Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux and won the Oscar for Best Special Effects.
