Arrow Video, with domestic sales and distribution expertise provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has tabbed Mar. 20 as the release date for a new 4K restoration (from the original film negative) of auteur filmmaker Robert Altman’s 1972 film release of Images.

It will be released as a Blu-ray product offering.

Crazy as a bed bug, Susannah York stars as Cathryn, the successful writer of children’s books, who suspects that her husband, Hugh (played by René Auberjonois), of having an affair.   Isolated at a remote country home in rural Ireland, she beings to have all sorts of hallucinations … which result in not one, but two murders.

Bonus features include commentary from Samm Deighan (Associate Editor of Diabolique Magazine) and Kat Ellinger (Editor-in-Chief of Diabolique Magazine), a vintage commentary (scene-specific) from director Robert Altman and a newly-prepared video session with actor Cathryn Harrison (as Susannah).

Romero.    These were previously included in the limited edition box set of George Romero Between Night and Dawn (released back on Nov. 14).

Being released on Mar. 13 as stand-alone Blu-ray releases are The Crazies (with commentary by Travis Crawford), Season of the Witch (Crawford also provides commentary) and There’s Always Vanilla (yes, Crawford also provides commentary).
