lang: Ingenue Redux - Live from The Majestic Theatre.
Filmed lived at the Magestic
Theatre in San Antonio, Texas this past Sept. 21, in celebration of lang’s North
American Ingénue Redux Tour, the nearly two-hour concert features a
fan-pleasing 17 song selection.
From her 1992 breakout
album, Ingénue, she delivered the
Grammy-winning “Constant Craving,” plus all of the other nine cuts from that
fan-adored album, including “Save Me,” “Tears of Love Recall,” “Wash Me Clean,”
“Still Thrives This Love” and, of course, “Miss Chatelaine.”
Blended in with the Ingénue album numbers were samples from
her other albums “Honey And Smoke” (case/lang/veirs),
“I Dream of Spring” (Watershed) and a
show-stopping presentation of Cohen’s “Hallelujah” (Hymns of the 49th Parallel) and covers of other artists, including Neil
Young's “Helpless.”
