20th Century-Fox Home Entertainment Readies Writer/Director James Gray's Ad Astra For The Home Entertainment Marketplace on Dec. 17

20th Century-Fox Home Entertainment looks to Dec. 17 for a three-SKU rollout of writer/director James Gray’s sci-fi tale, Ad Astra, starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland and Liv Tyler.

Planned for the home entertainment launch are a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (with Blu-ray) and separate stand-alone Blu-ray and DVD editions.

The ARR is just 88 days and domestic box office receipts came in light (against the production budget) at $49.7 million.

Bonus features include commentary from writer/director James Gray (The Lost City of Z, The Immigrant, Little Odessa), a pair of deleted with scenes (with optional commentary from Gray) and six featurettes — “To the Stars,” “A Man Named Roy,” “The Crew of the Cepheus,” “The Art of Ad Astra,” “Reach for the Stars” and “Space Age: The VFX.”
