Mill Creek Entertainment announced this past week
that the smash Syfy Channel sci-fi series, Eureka:
The Complete Series, will be available as a 12-disc
Blu-ray collection on June 9.
Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest there is a
super-secret town that was developed in the wake of World War II and the
arrival of the Cold War to house the brightest of the bright. The government even went so far as to hide
the place with a whiz-bang electromagnetic shield created by Global Dynamics.
All is well and what could possibly … go
wrong!!? Into this “big brain”
paradise comes U.S. Marshall Jack Carter (played by Colin Ferguson — Cedar
Cove, Haven, etc.), a “normal” human being,
who is immediately recruited as the new Sheriff … keep order, without being
“out-smarted” by the locals.
First time on Blu-ray, included here are all 77
episodes from Eureka’s
five years broadcast run. And, the
collection comes loaded with something like four-hours worth of bonus goodies,
including gag reels (plural), deleted scenes, a five-season collection of
featurettes and episode-specific commentaries.
