Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has added documentary filmmaker Lesley Chilcott’s six-part mini-series, Helter Skelter: An American Myth, to its February release calendar. It will be available as a double-disc DVD edition on Feb. 9.
With the success of Quinten Tarantino’s 2019 film release of Once Upon a Time … In Hollywood, Charles Manson and his Spahn Ranch collection of cult followers, renewed interested in the Manson Family sparked this look-back at the times, the legend, the crimes of Manson and his misguided followers.
Included in the mix are interviews with former Manson Family members, including Snake (aka: Dianne Lake) and Gypsy (aka: Catherine Share), journalist Ivor Davis (author of: “Manson Exposed: A Reporter’s 50-Year Journey into Madness and Murder”), Bill McBride (one of the Manson trial jurors), Louise LaBianca (daughter of Leno LaBianca) and more.
Plus there are archival footage, newly unearthed material and more.
