Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has the next installment in the Halloween film franchise (the 12th in the series) ready for a rollout in the New Year.

Arriving on Jan. 11 as a three-SKU product launch is director David Gordon Green’s Halloween Kills, with Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her classic role as Laurie Strode.

The ARR works out to 88 days and domestic box office receipts stand right at $92 million.

Planned for distribution are Combo Pack editions for the 4K Ultra HD (with Blu-ray) and Blu-ray (with DVD) formats, plus a stand-alone DVD edition.

As to bonus goodies, all three SKU configurations will include two viewing options.   These are, the original theatrical cut of the film and an extended cut, which clocks-in with an additional four-minutes worth of footage.

Additionally, all three release configurations come loaded with extras.   Commentary is provided by writer director and producer David Gordon Green (who was three-years-old when the original Halloween hit theatres … directed the Halloween re-boot in 2018, this feature and the third in this trilogy, Halloween Ends, which is due in theatres in October of next year), who is joined by actors Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer.  There are extended and deleted scenes, a gag reel, the “kill count” option and five featurettes — “Haddonfield’s Open Wounds,” “The Kill Team,” “Strode Family Values,” “1978 Transformations” and “The Power of Fear.”
