Full Moon Features, with sales and distribution support provided my MVD Entertainment Group, has targeted Jan. 18 as the street date for both DVD and Blu-ray editions of cult-status filmmaker Ted Nicolaou’s latest horror thriller, Don’t Let Her In.
If the film is from Ted Nicolaou, genre fans immediately sit up and take notice. He has delivered during his illustrious filmmaking career such delights as TerrorVision, the Subspecies series (with another installment in the works), Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys, Aliens Gone Wild, Vampire Slaughter: Eaten Alive … and more (it is a long and impressive list).
Here he provides both a tale of terror and a story of erotic encounters, which come together in the second half in this swiftly-paced tale that delivers exactly what the title implies … don’t let her in. In this case, Serena (Lorin Doctor — Aberrant, The Brawler and in writer/director Raymond Chu’s forthcoming sci-fi tale, Night Lights), who is beautiful, sexy, seductive … and much, much more!!
We are introduced to artist Amber (Kelly Curran — Love is Blind) and her live-in boyfriend, Ben (played by recording artist Cole Pendery in his feature film debut), who have room to spare in their downtown Los Angeles loft/artist studio. Simple solution, rent the extra space out. Enter Serena, who also claims to be an “artist” … and she certainly is, but not in the same sense as Amber.
Serena is an artist of deception and seduction and soon seduces and beds both of her new flat mates. But she is just getting started! Something evil is being spawned!!
Bonus goodies include the featurette titled “Don't Let Her In: Behind the Scenes with Ted Nicolaou.”
