Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment dives in on Mar. 12 with a full spread physical media splash of writer/director James Wan’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
The ARR works out to 81 days and domestic box office receipts currently stand at $110.2 million (against a recorded production budget of $205 million).
Planned for distribution are stand-alone editions for all three formats — DVD, Blu-ray and the 4K Ultra HD.
A premium VOD window has been inserted 32 days after the theatrical launch on Jan. 23, which gives the “helper” community a full seven weeks to peddle DVD and Blu-ray editions of their own.
In fishing for bonus goodies, we find that all three home entertainment release SKUs contain seven featurettes — “Finding the Lost Kingdom,” “Aquaman: World Above and Below,” “It’s a Manta World,” “Necrus, The Lost Black City,” “Escape from the Deserter World,” “Brawling at Kingfish’s Lair” and “Oh TOPO!”
Exclusive to the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray product offerings is the additional featurette titled “Atlantean Blood Is Thicker Than Water.”
