Paramount Home Entertainment has tabbed Apr. 16 as the street for double-disc Blu-ray and DVD editions of the latest away missions featured in Star Trek: Lower Decks, Season 4.
All ten episodes of this animated hit series are featured here. The adventures of the “other” crew members — Ensigns Beckett Mariner (voiced by Tawny Newsome), Brad Boimler (Jack Quaid), D’Vana Tendi (Noel Wells) and Samanthan Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) — are showcased, not the traditional away missions (the save the universe stuff) of the bridge officers.
Bonus features include commentary on five of the ten episodes, plus the featurette titled “Lower Decktionary: Setting Up Season 4.” As an added bonus, a Star Trek series veteran makes a surprise visit!!
