The concert was originally filmed live at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama back in October of 2021 and that might have been it, but what happened that night on stage turned out to be pure magic.
The footage was assembled into a theatrical cut and became a nationwide, one-night-only Fathom Event spectacular on Nov. 12 of last year.
Now, all of recording artist Lee Greenwood’s legions of fans can enjoy the event in the comfort of their living room with these Blu-ray and DVD editions from MVD.
If you will recall, last December (the 8th to be exact) MVD delivered both Blu-ray and DVD editions of Billy Idol: State Line – Live at the Hoover Dam, which was also a nationwide Fathom Event one-night spectacular. So MVD knows how to work the magic.
This is a 19-song set of some of Lee Greenwood’s greatest hits, all performed in tribute fashion by major recording artists who made the trip to Huntsville for this special concert.
If you are Lee Greenwood fan this is a must as the set list includes Jarney Johnson performance of “Ring on Her Finger, Time on Her Hands,” Big & Rich rock out with “Holdin’ a Good Hand” and the Oak Rich Boys give it all with “Dixie Road.”
There is more, a whole lot more leading up to an star-studded finale with all of the tribute artists joining Lee Greenwood on stage for a heart-stopping rendition of “God Bless The USA!!!”
