Paramount Home Entertainment Selects May 28 As The Street Date For The Release Of A Full Physical Media Spread Of Director Reinaldo Marcus Green’s Bob Marley: One Love

Paramount Home Entertainment has selected May 28 as the street date for a full spread of physical media product selections for director Reinaldo Marcus Green’s hit biopic, Bob Marley: One Love, starring Kingsley Ben-Adir (One Night in Miami …, Barbie) as the reggae recording legend.

The ARR comes in at 102 days and the domestic box office take currently stands at an impressive at $89.3 million.

A premium VOD window begins on Mar. 19, just 32 days into the film’s theatrical run.   Within hours, the “helper” community was Johnny-on-the-spot with Blu-ray knockoffs that are being snapped up by unsuspecting consumers (or fans of Marley who simply don’t care about the source).   

Paramount has given the bootlegger community a full ten weeks to peddle their illicit Blu-ray editions before the real selections arrive … which are stand-alone DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD editions.   There will also be a “limited” edition 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray SteelBook Combo Pack purchasing option available on May 28 as well.

Bonus features include eight extended and/or deleted scenes, plus five featurettes — “Becoming Bob Marley,” “The Story: Bringing Bob Marley’s Story to Life,” “The Cast,” “On Location: Jamaica and England” and “The Band.”
