88 Films Has Blu-ray Editions Of Director Wellson Chin's The Inspector Wears Shirts 3 And The Inspector Wears Shirts 4 Ready For Release On July 09

88 Films, with domestic sales and distribution expertise provided by MVD Entertainment Group, doubles up with Banshee Squad action on July 9 with the Blu-ray releases of director Wellson Chin’s 1990 film release of The Inspector Wears Skirts 3 and his 1992 follow up, The Inspector Wears Skits 4.

The five members of the all-female Hong Kong police undercover agents known as the Banshee Squad are on the case looking for stolen weapons in The Inspector Wears Skirts 3.   These might be hidden aboard a luxury casino ship.

Returning to action are Amy (Sandra Ng), May (Kara Wai) and Susanna (Amy Yip), who are teamed with two new members of the squad, Judy (San Yip) and “Super Police Woman” (Wai-Kei Wong), plus Madame Wu (Sibelle Hu) and Inspector Kan (Stanley Sui-Fan Fung) return to lead the way.   

The weapons hunt turns into a ship hijacking with $200 million at stake.  

The series concludes with The Inspector Wears Skirts 4, where we pick up the action as everything has fallen apart and only Amy (Sandra Ng) is left from the Banshee Squad.  When the new group of female commandoes doesn’t quite live up expectations Amy is called back to help out!!

Both films are presented in Cantonese with English subtitles (English language tracks are also included) and Asian cinema expert Frank Djeng provides commentaries.
