Paramount Home Media
continues the 4K Ultra HD hit parade with an onslaught of six new Tom Cruise
theatrical hits on June 26.
Included in the mix are
all five of the current Mission: Impossible films — Mission:
Impossible, Mission: Impossible 2, Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible
– Ghost Protocol and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation —
which puts them in the market and on retailer shelves about 30 days before
director Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits
theatres nationwide on July 27.
All of the Mission:
Impossible 4K Ultra HD SKUs will be Combo Packs featuring Blu-ray
editions of each film.
Rounding out the Tom
Cruise blitz on June 26 is director Christopher McQuarrie’s 2012 film release
of Jack
Reacher. It too will be a 4K
Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack … the second film in the series, Jack
Reacher: Never Go Back, is already available as a 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray
Combo Pack (Jan. 31, 2017).
In recent weeks Paramount
Home Media has announced 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack editions of Saving
Private Ryan, Braveheart and Gladiator (all on May 9),
Terminator
Genisys and Forrest Gump on June 12.
