Cinema Libre announced
this past week that director Cordula Kablitz-Post’s insightful bio-pic, Lou
Andreas-Salomé, The Audacity to be Free, will be available as both DVD
and Blu-ray product offerings on July 31.
This look at the life and
romantic involvements of intellectual, psychoanalyst and author, Lou “Lou” Andreas-Salomé
(whose personal relationships included both Friedrich Nietzsche and Sigmund
Freud), had a domestic launch at the Tallgrass Film Festival in October of last
year.
A brief arthouse run yields an ARR
of 102 days.
The film is presented in
German with English subtitles.
