Warner Bros. Home
Entertainment will be bringing both DVD and Blu-ray editions of Robert Taylor’s
Wyoming crime series, Longmire: The Sixth and Final Season,
to market on Nov. 20.
It has been an up and
down ride getting to six full seasons as A&E Television Networks abruptly
canceled the popular show after three seasons citing that “the wrong
demographic was watching it.” Read into
that what you will, but Netflix saw a good thing and pounced on it for three
additional seasons.
All ten episodes of the
finale season featuring regular cast members Robert Taylor as Sheriff Walt
Longmire, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman and Adam
Bartley are included here, but Warner Bros. did not list any bonus features for
either the DVD or Blu-ray product offerings.
Also on the way to the
home entertainment marketplace in November from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment
is a “Commemorative Edition” of director Ethan Spaulding’s 2015 direct-to-video
release of Justice League: Throne of Atlantis.
It will be available on
Nov. 13 as both 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack
editions.
In addition to the
previously release bonus goodies, there is a new commentary option featuring DC
Universe’s Creative Director of Animation, Mike Carlin, who is joined by
screenwriter Heath Corson, plus there is a newly-prepared featurette titled “Aquaman:
The New King.”
