DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey
Last week Universal Pictures Home Entertainment selected Oct. 23 for the home entertainment launch of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and this week the studio is back again with not one, but two summer theatrical-to-home entertainment announcements.     Yes, it is that time of year to fill in the release schedule as the summer theatrical hits get their marching orders.

Look to Nov. 13 for DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack editions of the STX Entertainment film production of director Peter Berg’s international espionage thriller, Mile 22.

The ARR is a swift-to-market 88 days and box office receipts for this Mark Wahlberg action vehicle in the domestic market were $35.1 million.

Bonus features include seven featurettes — “Overwatch,” “Introducing Iko,” “Iko Fight,” “Bad Ass Women,” “BTS Stunts,” “Modern Combat” and “Colombia.”
One week earlier, Nov. 6, look for a three-SKU helping of auteur filmmaker Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman.

The ARR is also 88 days and ticket sales currently stand at $43.5 million.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment plans to release both DVD and Blu-ray stand-alone editions, plus a 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack.

Bonus features for BlacKkKlansman are limited to a video session with author Ron Stallworth (whose experiences as a detective with the Colorado Springs police department were the basis for his 2014 book, “Black Klansman”) and producer Jordan Peele (Oscar-winner for his Get Out script, plus Oscar-nominated for Best Director for the same film).
