Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will be
teaming up with STX Entertainment on July 30 for the home entertainment launch
of director Kelly Asbury’s animated adventure, Ugly
Dolls.
Box office receipts currently stand at $19.6 million
and the ARR comes in at a quick-to-market 88 days.
Planned for family home viewing are a stand-alone
DVD edition and a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack presentation.
Bonus features include two featurettes — “Making
UglyDolls” and “Fun with the Cast of UglyDolls.”
Also added to the new release calendar this past
week by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment is the STX Entertainment
production of director Zara Hayes’ retirement community comedy starring Diane
Keaton, Poms.
It is slated for a DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack
rollout on Aug. 6 … the ARR is also 88 days and multiplex box office receipts
registered $13.2 million in ticket sales.
