Writer/Director John Krasinski's A Quiet Place Gets A 4K Ultra HD Release On Mar. 10 • On The Eve Of A Quiet Place 2

DVD & Blu-ray Release Report, Ralph Tribbey
Paramount Home Media has tabbed Mar. 10 for the release of a 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack edition of writer/director John Krasinski’s 2018 sci-fi thriller, A Quiet Place, starring the husband and wife team of Emily Blunt and John Krasinski (who also produced).

This will be a SteelBook Edition.

This modest budget production generated $340 million worldwide in ticket sales, including $187.9 million domestically.   That yells FILM FRANCHISE!!

The timing for this new 4K Ultra HD edition is spot-on with the long-awaited sequel, A Quiet Place 2, opening on Mar. 20 nationwide.   And, indications from the trailer (which, yes, they can be misleading) points to A Quiet Place 2 as being every bit as good as the first edition … Eyelyn (Blunt) knows the weakness of the invading creatures, but what about the other survivors, are they just as dangerous?   Whew!!

Bonus goodies for this 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack release of A Quiet Place include a trio of production featuettes — “Creating the Quiet,” “The Sound of Darkness” and “A Reason for Silence.”
