MVD Entertainment Group has selected Mar. 22 for the Blu-ray debut of Seth Landau’s 2008 chiller, Bryan Loves You, which was a micro-budget production that attracted genre star-power way beyond its financial constraints.

Included in the cast are scream queens Tiffany Shepis (Dorm of the Dead, Chainsaw Cheerleaders, Night of the Demons) and Brinke Stevens (Ebola Rex Versus Murder Hornets, It Wants Blood!, Blood Siblings) plus The Candyman himself, Tony Todd as the narrator and Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman in a cameo performance.

This tale of cults and the influence they have on the unsuspecting is, in many ways, prophetic … who would have thought in 2008 that so many frightened people would don masks and trudge like zombies through their local Wal-Mart convinced — or programmed — into thinking that the masks they are wearing will ward-off evil (an unseen virus).   Of course, no one, but here we are.

A cult that calls itself “The Bryans” deals with anyone who does not comply to their beliefs (that means, murder) … you either join in and become a zombie-like member or you are made to suffer the consequences … creepy, and, as mentioned, prophetic.

Bonus features include two commentary options … a newly-prepared commentary with filmmaker Seth Landau and a vintage 2008 commentary with Landau, cast members and more.

Plus, there are four new video sessions with scream queens Tiffany Shepis and Brinke Stevens, plus cast members George Wendt (Mr. Flynn) and Daniel Roebuck (Professor Spine).
