Arrow Video, with domestic sales and distribution expertise provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has a new 4K film restoration of director John McNaughton’s neo-noir 1998 sexually-charged thriller, Wild Things, set a 4K Ultra HD rollout on May 24.

A new Blu-ray product offering will also be available on May 24 as well.

A bombshell rape allegation finds poor high school guidance counselor Sam Lombardo (Matt Dillon) on trial.   It doesn’t look good, but then during the course of the trial the two high school girls, Kelly Van Ryan (Denise Richards) and Suzie Toller (Neve Campbell), breakdown and admit that they framed poor Sam for other reasons.

He’s award $8.5 million in damages.   Justice is served!!!    Whoa, wait a minute, the local detective, Ray Duquette (Kevin Bacon) suspects that the whole thing is scam from start to finish and the three are involved.

Wild Things is more than a court settlement, it’s a double scam and before the end credits three of the aforementioned four characters involved in both the trial and the aftermath will be dead.   Who survives?  Who dies?  And who is the brains behind the scam?   We know, but mums the word!

Bonus features include commentary from director John McNaughton, who is joined by producer Steven A. Jones, plus there are newly-prepared video sessions with McNaughton and Denise Richard, outtakes and a making-of documentary.
