Bayview Entertainment announced this past week that an agreement for the acquisition of Mutiny Pictures — and its extensive film library — has been finalized. This move sets up Bayview for a massive influx of new film releases beginning in early 2023.
This news comes hot on the heels of the VIPCO Ltd. acquisition back in August, which is already paying dividends with the Blu-ray release news from this past week that both writer/director Bradley Steele Harding’s chiller, 13 Tracks to Frighten Agatha Black and indie horror filmmaker Josh Enders’ The Last Slay Ride will be heading home on Dec. 13.
As to the newly-acquired Mutiny Pictures film library, we can look forward in the New Year to the likes of writer/director Joseph DeGolyer’s hitman on a mission thriller, The 13th Cross; director Alex Galvin’s wickedly-twisted modern adaptation of the Henry James novel, The Turn of the Screw … and writer/director Clayton Scott’s stylish cold-case mystery, Below the Fold. And that’s just scratching the surface!
