Blue Underground, with sales and distribution support provided by MVD Entertainment Group, has not one, but two new 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Packs heading home in this New Year.
Streeting on Feb. 21 will be two of director Jess Franco’s all-time favorite erotic classics from the Blue Underground library, Marquis De Sade's Justine, starring Romina Power, and Eugenie, with Marie Liljedahl as the title character.
Marquis De Sade's Justine is a new 4K film restoration from the uncensored original camera negative (96-minute edited theatrical release back in 1970 … this version clocks in at 124-minutes; impressive).
Bonus features include a newly prepared commentary with film historians Nathaniel Thompson and Troy Howarth, the edition presentation of Deadly Sanctuary (first time in HD), two vintage featurettes — “The Perils and Pleasures of Justine” and “Stephen Thrower on Justine” — plus the newly-minted featurette titled “On Set with Jess.”
There is also an expanded poster and still gallery.
Eugenie is a new 4K film restoration from the original camera negative.
Bonus goodies include a newly-prepared commentary with film historians Nathaniel Thompson and Troy Howarth, a pair of vintage featurettes — “Perversion Stories” and “Stephen Thrower on Eugenie” — and the newly created featurette titled “Jack Taylor in the Francoverse.”
Eugenie also has an expanded poster and still gallery.
