Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will be moving director Maria Schrader’s film adaptation of Jodi Kantor (played by Zoe Kazan) and Megan Twohey’s (Carey Mulligan) 2019 exposé on the illicit sexual predilections of Harvey Weinstein, She Said, to the home entertainment packaged media marketplace on Jan. 10.
The ARR works out to a swift-to-market 53 days and
domestic box office receipts came in light at just $5.8 million. It will be the streaming and home entertainment
revenue streams that will have to cut into the red ink on this well-produced theatrical
release.
Planned for distribution are a stand-alone DVD edition, as well as a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack purchasing option.
Bonus feature for She Said are limited to the behind-the-scenes featurette titled “Breaking the Story.”
